In 2005, we submitted our 5x5 plan to our Dutch shareholders. Ordina Belgium cherished uncompromising ambitions, and so we moved up a gear.
5x5. In 5 years, we wanted to become Belgian champion among ICT companies. With 500 professionals, operating in 5 regions. With turnover of 50 million euro, and profits of 5 million euro. Our objective? To support your growth. To increase your innovative capacity, financial continuity and stability. To strengthen our position as a partner for our clients and prospects. And be the best company to work for and with in Belgium.
Due to our strong organic growth and the integration of EVO-Soft and Iterum, we realised our 5x5 ambition faster than expected. By making the right decisions and focusing on the right sectors. Because although the ICT market was showing a clear revival, Ordina was growing much faster than the market average.
Between 2006 and 2008 we have continued to grow. In August 2007, Ordina took over ITG Consulting Group. This enabled us to enhance our expertise in business consultancy for the finance market. The take-over immediately gave us a strong position in the French-speaking part of Belgium. The acquisition of E-Chain Management in September 2008 made Ordina one of the biggest SAP partners in Belgium and Luxemburg. These were important steps in our growth strategy heading for 2010.
We are continuing to recruit talented and experienced professionals. They are necessary to keep up with demand from our clients. And we are always looking out for new partners for strategic alliances.
Ordina is an ICT company, but first and foremost it is a people business. As a local player, we want to find the right people for our clients, and provide the right solution. Only the right fit is good enough. Our growth plan motivates our people to shift their boundaries and guarantee a continuing win-win partnership with clients.
