Ordina is continuing its steady growth strategy by acquiring full share ownership of IFS Probity. IFS is a Dutch-based IT service provider with thorough expertise in complex invoicing (subscription billing), helping organizations to oversee and manage their complex payment procedures. The acquisition of IFS Probity strengthens Ordina's utilities and mobility sector position. The trend toward continuously changing contracts offers possibilities for broader applications, like subscriptions and pay-per-use. Ordina will not disclose any financial details about the take-over.

IFS Probity, which originated in 2004 through the merger of IFS Nederland and Probity, has an annual revenue of EUR 7 million and about 40 employees. The company is rooted in the utilities sector, bringing in-depth knowledge of complex invoicing processes at the cutting edge of business and IT systems such as SAP BRIM and SAP IS-U. This know-how helps organizations gain insight into rapidly growing data streams, based on which they can send invoices, collect fees for their services, automate their B2B and B2C transactions and improve their overall financial management.

Jo Maes, CEO of Ordina, says: ‘The expertise of IFS Probity in subscription billing is a valuable addition to Ordina's portfolio and goes far to strengthen our proposition Business platforms and cloud. This acquisition will allow us to respond even better to future developments, such as Mobility as a service and the various payment challenges in the utilities and mobility sector. This amplification of our expertise will enable us to smoothen and simplify these processes significantly. Uniting the considerable strengths of IFS Probity and Ordina offers a lot of potential for growth with large and medium-sized customers and governments. We can offer a larger portfolio to our joint customers and help them to beat the change. The acquisition of IFS Probity fits nicely into growing our portfolio with tailor-made niche solutions.’

Jan van der Veen, partner at IFS Probity, says: ‘Joining forces guarantees an even better realization of the digital ambitions of our customers. Access to the broader clientele and portfolio of larger-sized Ordina allows for accelerated growth. Additionally, this provides more opportunities to our employees for diversifying their careers and developing their skills.’

Ordina neemt IFS Probity over
