The SCO team

The Ordina Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) team stands for in-depth expertise, innovative solutions, state-of-the-art technologies and a successful project approach. This is in response to the complex challenges of our customers. A team of 55 consultants with years of experience in the field of planning solutions, manufacturing operations management (MOM) and optimisation.

Our consultants have a varied range of tasks. We advise customers, help them to make the right choice of software solutions and their implementation, guide them towards successful commissioning, and ensure that our solutions function and evolve over a long period of time without any problems. We help customers to understand complex processes and optimise them. We do this for companies from various sectors, such as Aleris, bPost, G4S, Ewals Cargo Care, USG StartPeople, Hager, Aperam, ECS, Givaudan, Eurostar, France Télévisions, Familiehulp, Hilton Food Group, PSA Antwerp, Jan De Rijk Logistics, Solidariteit voor het Gezin, Colruyt Group – Symeta, OCP, ISS, Brussels Airport, Belgische Douane, CRH, Punch Powertrain, Janssen Pharmaceutica and ArcelorMittal. Planning Solutions

Our ambition is to be the reference in the Benelux for all facets of the planning field. This applies to demand planning and forecasting, sales & operations planning (S&OP), network of supply chain planning, master production planning, detailed scheduling, logistics and transport planning, and personnel and field service planning. Planning people and resources as efficiently as possible without compromising on quality and customer service? That is the delicate balancing act that we are working on. We optimize and simplify challenging planning puzzles with solutions that support our customers’ business processes on a daily basis. For the implementation of planning software, we work together with technology partners such as Quintiq, IBM and Rob-Ex. We are a platinum partner of Quintiq, the market leader in Supply Chain Planning & Optimization software.

Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM)

MOM is a global approach that looks at all aspects of the production process, with a specific focus on increasing efficiency, in addition to quality, traceability, process monitoring, operator workflow and energy management. We give advice on Industry 4.0, Factory of the future, of Industrial Internet of Things (IIot). In addition, we implement and manage MOM solutions.


We work together with partners such as GE Automation and Phoenix Contact, and developed iMESure: an innovative platform for manufacturing operations & intelligence. iMESure is a modular solution based on best practices and applicable to a broad group of production companies. Without heavy investments, our customers can achieve performance improvements and cost savings.


Making the right choices on complex issues quickly transcends people’s comprehension. More and more, we see companies using optimisation models to support their decisions. This gives them access to a range of mathematical and algorithmic techniques that help them to achieve a more optimal result for their complex challenges. Our Optimisation as a Service proposition deploys professionals who can translate the complex business issues of our customers into an optimisation exercise. Experiences with a background in areas such as mathematical optimisation, operational research, informatics and artificial intelligence. They have theoretical knowledge of optimization and experience with the application possibilities and limitations.
