As a Data Governance Consultant you will play an active role in the implementation of the data management strategy at our clients. You help to develop a data-driven culture and convert the strategy into measurable objectives. You participate in the development of a permanent improvement policy for the quality and completeness of the data within the organisation in which the regulations and standards are determined and implemented. You assist companies in defining an unambiguous conceptual framework and information model. You will be given the opportunity to define governance processes tailored to the client, and to implement them successfully. Afterwards, you measure the results against the objectives.

Who we are looking for

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in data management
  • You are familiar with the data privacy regulations (GDPR)
  • You have a good knowledge of data governance practices, business process modelling, data modelling and data architecture
  • You understand the main business processes and IT systems involved in the data life cycle
  • You have the knowledge of data management tools and technologies, for example: Collibra, IBM IGC, Tableau, SQL, Power BI
  • You are communicative and a team player, who can also work independently – if needed
  • Your ability to listen and your coaching skills ensure that you are able to help your employees to grow
  • You are someone who is committed to quality and customer satisfaction
  • You have a thorough analytical mindset and a good ability to summarize. You are result-oriented and you can think out of the box
  • You follow technological developments closely and can distinguish hype from value
  • Your communications skills (oral & written) towards both technical and non-technical stakeholders are good
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
