MES process engineer

As process engineer within an MES automation project, you and a team of Ordina colleagues are responsible for converting the existing production processes and existing (paper) batch records to the MES system. Together with production and QA, you discuss which process changes are needed, determine the impact and help to automate these changes. Through your process knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry you take the initiative to propose process optimizations with the aim of increasing efficiency. Good communication and documentation skills are some of your qualities.

Your tasks include:

  • Setting up and maintaining master batch records in MES or CRB and supporting various stakeholders (process engineers, QA, production)
  • Control and translation of the converted paper or electronic batch records to the MES system
  • Creating new or updating existing batch records based on the process information and deactivating outdated records and recipes
  • Making improvements with regard to the MBR receptacles
  • Maintaining close contact with your team and organizing consultations with your colleagues from Production and QA on a regular basis
  • Maintaining recipes for different plants and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations

In addition to the MBR project, you will also be involved in other smaller projects

Who we’re looking for

  • You have a master’s degree in a scientific field (Industrial Ir, Bio Ir, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, …) or equivalent through experience
  • You have knowledge of cGMP and have already worked with MES systems
  • You have an affinity with IT and automation systems (PLC, SCADA, etc.)
  • You can keep an overview and are good at setting up plans and structures
  • You are quality and customer-oriented
  • You have strong administrative skills, are punctual and have an eye for detail
  • You can communicate clearly, clearly and assertively, both in Dutch and English
