SEMANTIC DATA MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

As a semantic data management consultant, you will work on structuring, modelling, visualising and transforming data, and you will also create the technical platform. You generate solutions within complex issues by making various types of data sets accessible and visualising them. Contact with the business is central here. This includes questioning the customer’s needs, advising and doing practical work. In general, this is a diverse position in which you may be active within each phase of a project.

Ordina’s semantic data management unit exists for 10 years with challenging projects that offers you a unique opportunity to develop your skills in this discipline. At Ordina Belgium, you will also join a team that is able to offer clients end-to-end solutions around data. Thanks to the cooperation with colleagues within data visualisation, data engineering, data science, data governance and data strategy, you will quickly gain experience and get plenty of opportunities to broaden your horizon.

Who we are looking for

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • You’re communicative and a team player, who is also able to work on their own (if needed)
  • You’re someone who goes for quality and customer satisfaction
  • You’re analytical, critical and you think out of the box
  • You have experience with data modelling and structured & unstructured data formats
  • You follow technological developments closely and can distinguish hype from value
  • You have a good knowledge of open data modelling techniques, such as RDF, OWL, SKOS, SHACL, RML, Turtle and SPARQL and/or are willing to develop this further
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus
