Partners in Education
Lummen – Wednesday, 20 June – 18.30 hrs.
Ordina, the largest independent IT service provider in the Benelux and the Thomas More university, will become ‘Partners in education’, a mutual commitment to structural and sustainable cooperation. The agreement will be sealed on Wednesday June 20 during the official opening of Ordina’s new office in Lummen.
“Ordina stands for IT that really matters, we invest a great deal in personal relationships with our customers and employees,” says Ivo Meukens, HR director at Ordina. “Today’s IT students are our employees of tomorrow. As a company, together with Thomas More, we want to invest in the training of IT professionals who will make a difference tomorrow”.
A permanent relationship
With a partnership ‘Partners in Education’, Thomas More commits to companies for a solid relationship, structural and sustainable. “We are looking for companies that want to participate in our core process. Who go straight to our hearts. Both partners, both the university and the company, need to benefit from it,” says Stijn Coenen of Thomas More. “Already during their training, our students need to be closely acquainted with the field of work in all its aspects. The partner companies are sitting in the cockpit in order to steer the training courses in a future-oriented manner. They share their expertise, know-how and infrastructure with teachers and students of Thomas More”.
