Our HPTxDev approach starts with the ambition you have for your organization and your digital strategy that makes it happen. It could be about developing a new business model, optimizing processes or reducing costs. Or perhaps a combination. Our HPTxDev approach works in three stages, that emphasises flexibility, collaboration, and iterative progress to accelerate development.

Design

Design

Design refers to the conceptualization of the project, where initial ideas or requirements are translated into concrete designs. This includes UX design, system architecture, and the analysis of potential security threats and the design of countermeasures, among other things.

Develop

Develop

Develop describes the actual development of the software. This includes coding and building up the supporting infrastructure, as well as developing test automation and security measures.

Deploy

Deploy

Deploy includes all the steps necessary for the release. It includes final testing, project launch , and subsequent monitoring and maintenance.

The three stages are intertwined with four streams to ensure a focus on quality and collaboration.

BIZ

BIZ

The BIZ-stream focuses on user-experience and requirements throughout the three stages. During the design stage, they refine requirements and collaborate with other teams on technical and UX design. In the development phase, they ensure that the product meets the business requirements and perform user testing. Finally, in the Deploy phase, they conduct user acceptance testing, provide training, and create user manuals to ensure effective adoption of the software.

DEV

DEV

The DEV stream within the three stages includes architecture and coding. In the design stage, you create the system architecture, plan interactions between system parts, and establish coding standards. In the development phase, you write code, perform automated testing, and collaborate with other streams. During the Deploy phase, the DEV stream ensures proper integration with the existing infrastructure, monitors for issues, and implements fixes as needed.

SEC

SEC

The SEC stream plays a critical role in all stages. In the design stage, they design security measures, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with security standards. During development, they perform ongoing security testing, monitor compliance, and verify secure coding practices. In the Deploy phase, the SEC stream performs final security checks and continues to monitor for security threats, ensures ongoing compliance and assist with incident response and recovery when necessary.

OPS

OPS

The OPS stream plays a key role in the software development process. In the design stage, they plan the infrastructure, deployment environment, and CI/CD pipeline. During development, they set up environments and prepare the infrastructure i.e. in containers or hyperscaling. In the deployment phase, they lead the deployment, manage system performance, maintain the infrastructure, handle updates, and troubleshoot system failures. They are also responsible for scaling the infrastructure based on system demand.
